During these few days in the capital city Phnom Penh, Cambodia, violence has occurred between the military polices and garment workers in the demand for wage rise to USD 160. As the consequence, at least four people were killed and many were injured during the clash. I feel resentful toward such tragedy with the death of my compatriots. The resentment is even stronger as there will be no justice for the dead men and women. Life of people in Cambodia has been treated as valueless in comparison with other things. My only wish is the words "Rest In Peace" and "Please Wait for ME!"

After any incident, it is typical to see politicians to visit the injured or family of dead victims with some compensation to show their kindness and respectfulness. Is it a kind of blanket cover the blood they are unable to protect? Does it show the inability of politicians to prevent the tragedy in the first place? Can those politicians choose a better choice to avoid the casualties before it happens?
As I have noticed, any solution can only be moved forward when involving death and blood of innocent people. When there was border dispute between Cambodia and Thailand, after the death of people, soldiers, and severe damage over Preah Vihea Temple, Cambodia government proceeded with legal action to the ICJ. After the violence and a death of an innocent man at Preah Monivong Bridge, the discussion to solve the problem between the government and CNRP progressed. Can the politicians show their wise leadership and prevent the violence from happening in the first place? Please do not use the lives of innocent people as the alarm to alert your own actions.
I am looking forward to seeing if there is any further discussion between the two parties after this incident.
